Membership
Membership in the INTERSMARTS Network is based on interests, activity and achievements.
Membership in the Network, beyond the founding members, is open to all types of stakeholder organisations without limitation, including those involved in research, education, business, policy-making, and other areas, as long as these organisations meet the following criteria:
- have interest and/or are active in the fields of sustainable development, blue growth, tourism and services;
- are established organisations registered as legal entities within the Black Sea Basin Programme area.
The cooperation between the parties within the INTERSMARTS Network is expected to develop valuable synergies, multiplier effects and economies of scale in applied research and innovation, as well as to demonstrate how the interaction between education, business and government can bring about valuable solutions relating to environment and sustainability.
