The INTERSMARTS project will deliver several key outputs to promote sustainable tourism and blue growth in the Black Sea region:
INTERSMARTS Network for Interdisciplinary Solutions
A cross-border network of experts, businesses, and public authorities collaborating on innovative solutions for sustainable tourism and services. This network will also act as a community of practice, bringing together researchers, professionals, and stakeholders who have participated in project events, field research, and feedback processes to share knowledge and foster “open innovations” across sectors.
Needs Assessment Reports
Comprehensive assessments focusing on the sustainability and blue growth opportunities in tourism and related services across the Black Sea Basin (BSB), offering tailored recommendations for each region.
INTERSMARTS Innovation Management Platform
A digital platform that facilitates innovation management, idea generation, and collaboration between stakeholders to promote sustainable practices in tourism.
Interdisciplinary Research and Networking Events
A series of international workshops, demonstrations, exhibitions, and discussions aimed at expanding the network and facilitating knowledge exchange between researchers and professionals involved in sustainable development, blue growth, and tourism.
