On November 14th, 2025, the INTERSMARTS partnership organized the Network Expansion Conference “Advancing Sustainable Tourism and Blue Growth in the Black Sea Basin” in Istanbul and hosted by the Istanbul Development Agency.
Besides the partners, the conference brought together experts, representatives of the public sector, the NEXT BSB National Authority in Turkiye, business and business support organisations from different Black Sea Basin cities and regions. The main focus of the discussions was the role of sustainable tourism and innovation as a driver of blue growth, as well as the importance of cross-border cooperation in addressing common regional challenges.
INTERSMARTS was once again showcased a regional cooperation driver with its innovation management platform. The event provided a platform for the exchange of ideas, good practices, and opportunities for future cooperation between partners and stakeholders.
