Moldova State University hosted an INTERSMARTS networking event, bringing together international partners, academics, and tourism professionals to strengthen cooperation on smart and sustainable tourism in the Black Sea region.
The forum focused on academic partnership and knowledge transfer, demonstrating how joint work between universities, institutions, and organisations from different countries can contribute to the development of the blue economy.
The event was attended by universities from Italy and Albania, as well as representatives of national authorities and stakeholders from the Republic of Moldova. Participants discussed opportunities for applying good practices and strengthening the INTERSMARTS network, with the overall goal of promoting innovative and sustainable solutions in tourism and related sectors. The event once again highlighted the role of cooperation and shared vision as key factors for achieving balanced and sustainable development in the Black Sea basin.
