As part of the regional event “Dialogue for the Development of Local Tourism in the Calarasi Region,” held at the Tourist Information Centre, the team from the Moldova State University presented the capabilities of the innovative INTERSMARTS platform.
Local entrepreneurs from the tourism sector had the opportunity to learn about the digital solutions, good practices, and support tools available through the platform. The resources presented are aimed at stimulating sustainable tourism, innovation and knowledge transfer in the region.
The event emphasised the importance of cooperation between business, academia and local communities to enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of tourism in the Black Sea basin.
The INTERSMARTS project promotes interdisciplinary cooperation, applied research and digitalisation in tourism and is implemented with the financial support of the INTERREG NEXT Black Sea Basin 2021-2027 programme.
