The INTERSMARTS Network invites students, professionals, and engaged citizens to share best practices and innovative projects that support sustainable environmental development in the Black Sea region.
Following the success of our first conference, the INTERSMARTS network has been excited to organise the 2nd International Conference on Sustainable Tourism and Blue Growth in the Black Sea Region.
Many issues about sustainability of tourism were raised in INTERSMARTS fields research. Tourism infrastructure is challenged by overdevelopment, loss of green spaces, inefficient maintenance of public areas, insufficient parking, inadequate pedestrian and cycling infrastructure.
INTERSMARTS is looking for the right innovation solutions that can improve the efficiency of sustainability and uptake of innovation in tourism and services through interdisciplinary research.
